Terms
GetKosWay takes the booking. A local partner supplies the vehicle. This says who is responsible for what.

Who you are contracting with
GetKosWay is a booking service. We do not own the vehicles and we do not run the boats. We choose the partner operators, take your booking, and stay reachable until it is finished.
When you book a rental you pay us 20% of the total online and enter a rental agreement with the partner named on your confirmation. The partner is responsible for the vehicle, its condition and its insurance.
When you book an experience — a boat day or a day trip — you pay the full price to us, and we settle with the operator afterwards.
Prices and payment
All prices include Greek VAT at the reduced island rate of 17%.
For a rental, the amount shown as pay now is our booking commission, 20%, and it is the only thing charged to your card. The remaining 80% is paid to the partner when the vehicle is handed over, in cash or by card.
There is nothing beyond the two figures shown at checkout. No cleaning fee, no fuel charge, no administration fee.
Where a product page states a deposit, the partner takes it as a card authorisation at handover and releases it on return. The amount is published before you book.
Getting the vehicle
Collecting from the partner's shop is the default, at a time that suits you.
A pick-up is the partner's own service, in the partner's own vehicle. GetKosWay does not transport customers and holds no passenger-transport licence. A pick-up is arranged with the partner and confirmed by message after you book; it is never guaranteed at the moment of booking.
Delivery is offered by the partner in Kos Town, Psalidi, Lambi, Tigaki and Marmari where their day allows it. It is a request, not a promise — we confirm by message after you book. If it cannot be arranged you collect from the shop and the delivery fee is not charged.
Where a pick-up or a delivery is arranged, time windows are two hours wide and we message you about 30 minutes before the partner arrives. We cannot commit to an exact minute.
Mastichari, Kardamena and Kefalos are served on request only, and we confirm in writing before any payment is taken.
Licences and age
You are responsible for holding the licence category stated on the product page and for carrying it with you. A 125cc scooter requires an A1 motorcycle licence — a car licence is not enough, and Greek police enforce it.
Minimum ages are stated per product. The partner may refuse handover if your documents do not match the booking; in that case your online payment is refunded in full.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your start date. Inside 48 hours the 20% deposit is kept, and because the balance is only ever paid at handover there is nothing else to settle.
The full policy, including what happens when we cannot supply the vehicle at all, is on the cancellation policy page.
Damage and breakdown
Report a breakdown or an accident to the number on your confirmation before doing anything else. Normal wear, punctures and flat batteries are not charged for.
Damage caused by misuse, by riding without the required licence, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs is settled directly with the partner.
Liability
Our liability for a booking is limited to what you paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Greek or EU consumer law.
Law and complaints
Greek law applies. If something has gone wrong, message us first — this is a small operation and most things are settled the same day.
If we cannot resolve it between us, consumers can take the matter to the Greek Consumer Ombudsman, synigoroskatanaloti.gr.
Changes
We update these terms when the service changes. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on the day you booked.
