Why go
Zia sits on the slopes of Mount Dikaios among olive groves, pine, cypress and oak, with views over the island's coast to Kalymnos and Pserimos. It is known for its sunsets.
In the village there are tavernas and cafés, shops with local herbs, spices and sweets, and springs that come down from the mountain. The Natural Park of Zia, in the pine forest, has paths, a playground and a café. The trail to the summit of Dikaios, at 846 m the highest point of Kos, starts here.
When to go
Late afternoon, to stay for the sunset.

Getting there
Collect from the shop in Lambi, or the rental shop picks you up from your accommodation (hotel or apartment) and takes you back at the end. Pick-ups are confirmed by message after you book.
