Why go
Dikaios is the highest mountain on Kos: 846 m at its top, Psilo Vouno. A chapel to Christ stands on the summit beside a large cross, and on a clear day you see Gyali, Nisyros and Pserimos, Kardamena and the salt lake of Tigaki.
The path from Zia is one of the best marked on the island, with signs along the way. The municipality gives about an hour to the top: 45 minutes on the path and 15 on a forest road. The chapel's feast is on 6 August, and some people climb on the evening of the 5th.
When to go
On a clear day, early or late in summer. Take water and proper shoes.

Getting there
Collect from the shop in Lambi, or the rental shop picks you up from your accommodation (hotel or apartment) and takes you back at the end. Pick-ups are confirmed by message after you book.
